Moncloa-Aravaca is one of the largest and greenest districts in the city. Palacio de la Moncloa, the official residence of the Spanish Prime Minister, is located here. Outside of the city centre is the landmark of Plaza de España, with a large fountain and monument. Next to this is the Temple of Debod. This is an Egyptian temple and museum that is great for sunset views. To the west is Casa de Campo, a large city park that used to be royal hunting grounds. Inside the park is Madrid's Zoo and Aquarium, along with the Parque de Atracciones, an amusement park. This is a perfect day out if you are travelling with children or families. To the north lies Universidad Complutense de Madrid, which is one of the best universities in Spain. This institution offers a lot of exchange programs, with students from all across the world. There are a variety of studio apartments and penthouses in this area for students. In the northwest is Aravaca, perhaps the most historic part of the district with a beautiful central square. There are other residential areas located here for tourists. Finally, Puerta de Hierro is located in the most northern part. This area contains an exclusive golf club, Real Club de la Puerta de Hierro. Other things to see are the Zarzuela Hippodrome and the Dehesa de la Villa forest. This district is a perfect setting for families looking for peace within the large city of Madrid.
