Pozuelo is a town in the western Metropolitan area of Madrid. It is one of the most popular residential areas in Madrid and well-known for the high level of wealth. Houses for sale in Pozuelo are in high demand. There is also a large number of companies that have their headquarters in the area. The region is home to Pozuelo de Alarcón FC, where some famous footballers live in gated communities with heavy security. Here properties are mostly large, with styles ranging from traditional to very modern. The town is centre of the private university, Francisco de Vitoria. There is no metro in Pozuelo de Alarcón, however there is a local stopping train and buses to Madrid city.
